Code of Conduct
This Code of Conduct provides ethical principles that all members of the LCO Science Collaboration will adhere to in our professional activities and interactions with each other. It is the responsibility of all members of our Collaboration, as well as people who obtain LCO time through the collaboration members, to familiarize themselves with ethical issues and procedures related to the oversight and maintenance of ethical standards for research and conduct.
All Science Collaboration institutions must adhere to LCO's Policies governing the allocation of observing time, which stipulate that (for example) time should not be granted to science programs that compete with LCO's key projects.
The institutions listed below are guaranteed observing time with the LCO Network.
The approximate number of hours per year is scaled to an estimate of 1000 usable hours per telescope per semester.
Additional Science Collaboration Institutions
These institutions are not guaranteed observing time with the LCO Network but are eligible to apply for LCO's share.
