The shutter on the Spectral camera on FTN (Haleakala) was replaced last week, and test observations indicate that the shutter is behaving itself. The camera has been cleared to resume science observations.
The Sinistro camera (fl14) in Dome B at Sutherland (CPT) is making science observations, and BANZAI-processed images are now available in the archive.
Last week, we introduced another new feature in the portal. When composing an observing request, you can now specify a minimum angular separation between your science target and the moon. This separation, labeled "Minimum Moon Distance", is the second of the user-imposed observing constraints. (The other is airmass.) The default value is 30 degrees.
