LCO Wins Major NSF Grant for the Expansion of Astronomical Network
A total of 1,000 teachers throughout all 26 states of Brazil will participate along with ~30,000 students. The time will be used by the teachers in their classrooms and for teacher training. This program is supported by the Ministry of Science, Technology, & Innovations (MCTI, Brasilia DF, Brazil) in collaboration with the International Astronomical Search Collaboration (IASC, United States) and Núcleo Interactivo de Astronomia (NUCLIO, Portugal).
