LCO Wins Major NSF Grant for the Expansion of Astronomical Network
100 Global High School Teams intends to facilitate students and teachers to use the robotic telescope time (0.4m) on LCO for the target objects (galaxies, nebulae, globular & open star clusters) with an aim of deeper understanding of subtle astronomical features. This aims to train participants in various techniques of astronomical data analysis using software like SalsaJ, JS9, TopCAT. Participants join from Asia, Africa, Europe, North America and South America.
